Cooper is a 6th generation Alabamian living on the land his family settled in 1819. His family property is in Perry County, AL located in the heart of the Black Belt where they have a diversified farm.
Cooper graduated from Darlington School in Rome, GA and attended the College of Agriculture at Auburn University. After Auburn he came home to work alongside his brother and father on the family's timber/cattle operation and helped expand it into agri-tourism and Longleaf pine straw production. Growing up on the farm gave Cooper a true love of the outdoors and appreciation of all the natural resources land provides. His love of the land and showing visitors around the Black Belt led Cooper to real estate.
Cooper is an active member of the Alabama Farmers Federation and current president of the Perry County Farmers Federation board. His passion is promoting the agricultural industry, natural resources, history and culture throughout the state of Alabama especially the Black Belt Region.
